Description
The historic little town of Ludlow has been hosting a food festival every year since 1995 that has became a must for gastronomy lovers: an authentic food and drink heaven. The Ludlow Food Festival has a strong reputation as one of the best, with its special combination of enviable food culture, passionate local chefs and producers and an array of amazing attractions.
Ludlow Spring Food Festival’s original spirit was to showcase the excellent local food and drink produced and to encourage visitors to explore Ludlow's fascinating shops, restaurants and pubs.
The castle square, with its traditional open-air market and the town's historic castle, provides the perfect backdrop for the two-day-long event that offers visitors the possibility of enjoying “an abundance of real food and drink: from rare breeds of meat to real ale, cider and perry, produced and sold by people who really care about what they are doing”.
A large number of over 180 exhibitors are expected, who, in addition to providing free talks and demos, trails, kids activities and workshops will also focus on food and drink that will delight all guests.
