Kerteminde Cherry Festival

The growing of cherries has long and deep traditions in the Northeastern part of Funen, where the conditions for fruit-growing are especially favourable, because of the many sunny hours and the relatively mild climate. Therefore, it was only natural to pay homage to the sweet and juicy berry with its own festival, which were the actual thoughts behind the festival, when it was arranged the first time in 2005.

The Cherry Festival will fill you with valuable experiences and you will see, why the Kerteminde artists all have immortalized the cherry blossoms in their art. As the main motto of the festival suggests, during The Kerteminde Cherry Festival you can use your tastes to : "See, listen and taste"
