Extra Virgin Olive Oil Fair Events
Visitors will be able to learn about, taste, and buy the highlighted product of the event—the extra-virgin olive oil—as well as other local specialties. There are various activities related to olive oil production and health. During the fair, prizes will be awarded for the best oil in Les Garrigues. The fair is held at Les Borges Blanques (Western Catalonia) in January.
Roca Cherry Festival Events
On 24 June each year, Arenys de Munt holds the Fira de la Cirera d'en Roca, a traditional cherry festival.
All day long, local producers sell their cherries and there is a craft fair as well as workshops for the children. The festival also features a gathering of lace-makers, a procession with a percussion band and the Arenys festival giants, and the traditional cherry stone-spitting contest!

Bufet Potato Market Events
The Bufet Potato Market takes place every Sunday in October (4th, 11th, 18th and 25th) from 9 am in the morning until 2 pm in the afternoon in the Plaça de la Rectoria d’Orís. Besides buying this particular variety of potato, there are many activities to be enjoyed throughout the day such as tasting sessions of dishes based on the Bufet potato and other fun activities for all ages.
Cal Rosal Mushroom Market Events
The Mercat del Bolet de Cal Rosal takes place every autumn at Cal Rosal, (Olvan, Berguedà) and is one of the oldest and best-known in Catalonia. It is open every day from 10 am until 7 pm. Visitors will find stalls with fresh, dried and preserved mushrooms as well as mushroom risottos, pastas, oil and pâtés plus cured meats, cheeses, yoghurt, eggs and honey from Berguedà.
Pyrenees Artisan Cheese Fair Events
As part of the millennial Fair of St. Ermengol, every year Seu d'Urgell in the Pyrenees celebrates its Artisan Cheese Fair, which brings together about forty artisan cheesemakers from the Catalan Pyrenees, Aragon, Navarre and Basque. The fair includes cheese tasting, workshops and presentations, as well as an Artisan Cheese competition.
The small town of Cabaces in county Priorat celebrates its annual Olive Oil Fair usually around the 7th December during harvest time. The cultivation of olives has been taking place for thousands of years in this area. The predominant variety grown in the region is Arbequina. The extra virgin olive oil produced here is marketed under the Siurana Protected Designation of Origin.
Pyrenees Artisan Cheese Fair Events
As part of the millennial Fair St. Ermengol, Seu d'Urgell organises the Pyrenees Artisan Cheese Fair, which brings together some forty artisan cheesemakers from the Catalan Pyrenees, Aragon, Navarre, Basque and French. The fair includes a space for tasting and sales by the producers themselves, a technical workshop, guided tastings and presentations in classrooms Tasting and Competition Artisan Cheese of the Pyrenees. Emphasizes the quality and diversity of cheeses to be found.
Priorat Olive Oil Route Routes
Besides wine, the other product that symbolises Priorat is the olive oil. The cultivation of olives has been taking place for thousands of years in this area, as a complementary crop to wine, or in certain villages of the region, as the main agricultural product.
