Riesling Open
Each year in September, wine and champagne lovers have an opportunity to celebrate the harvest of the Riesling Open in the Moselle River Valley. This is a weekend event of wine and champagne tasting with an entertainment program centred in four villages of the Wine Route: Ehnen, Wormeldange, Ahn and Machtum. It is the perfect occasion to experience the well known wines and champagnes of this popular wine region.

Description
Each year the Riesling Open promises an authentic feast in the villages on the Wine Route (Route du Vin) where, for a weekend, it is possible to enjoy a complete program basically made up of wine & music. Centred in four villages along the Moselle River Valley (Ehnen, Wormeldange, Ahn and Machtum), local wineries throw open their doors to celebrate the harvest offering visitors an opportunity to sample their products.
The tasting and sale of wine and champagne from the wineries of the villages on the Route, musical entertainment, visits to the cellars and food degustation are only some of the experiences that the event offers.
The event begins with the crowning of the Rieslinger Wine Queen, followed by a formal dance; begin the celebrations in beauty. For the next two days, visitors will experience local wine products and can also explore the cellars.
