Mit dem Osterfestival führen die Salzkammergut Festwochen Gmunden ihre erfolgreiche Tradition weiter, Kunst und Kultur auf höchstem Niveau an den schönsten Plätzen der Traunseeregion zu präsentieren. Zahlreiche Ostermärkte erweitern das klassische Kulturangebot mit kulinarischen Erlebnissen und regionalen Produkten.
The Easter Festival forms part of the Gmunden Salzkammergut Festival Weeks. Its focus is on art and culture events taking place at the most beautiful places along the shores of lake Traunsee. Numerous Easter markets add to this high-profile cultural event, where you find a superb blend of culinary adventures based on local products.
Living traditions, local food, traditional crafts, a fun children's program and folk music are offered at the traditional Easter market on 27th and 28th March at the most beautiful historical places of the city of Gmunden am Traunsee. Culinary delights, cider, juice and donuts can be found for the pleasure of the market visitors. There will be a programme with improvised folk music and various entertainments. A photo station will offer the opportunity of capturing that special moment.
