Follow the signposts of the wine trails in the old villages situated on the shores of Lake Skadar and on the slopes of the high karst mountains. You will be the guests of local residents who will offer you wine from their cellars and Montenegrin specialities such as home-made cheese, smoked ham cured in beech wood smoke, pan-roasted lamb, goat meat specialities or the famous carp from Lake Skadar.
You will feel the warmth of authentic stone houses with wine cellars in which the spirit of past times can still be felt.
Wild and romantic village at Skadar Lake
This place charms its guests with its winding roads and old stone houses, each of them with its own old wine cellars. A legend says that in Godinje the wine is of special sweetness because three suns were shining powerfully and strongly on this place.
