General information
Guests can enjoy not only the local house wines, but also the famous Wine Hill grape wine. In the bazaar it is possible to buy a wide range of homemade wines from all over Latvia, as well as a variety of other products.
Wine Hill. The history of this vineyard starts in the 14th century. This symbol of Sabile has been officially registered in The Guinness Book of World Records as the most northerly open–air vineyard in the world. The vineyard offers a wonderful view above the provincial town of Sabile, with old red tile roofs, narrow streets and the primeval Abava Valley.
The Wine Hill vineyard is open from the 1st May to the 30th September. Other dates are only possible by prior arrangement!
